Biographical Info I joined Pakistan Customs Service in July 2003 after qualifying the Central Superior Services examination and worked in various positions at operational and policy level. It was the desire to further enhance my academics and acquire advanced skills in the field of public policy that propelled me to compete for the World Bank scholarship to get funding for MSc in Public Policy and Administration from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). However, after this degree I realized that it was more general in nature vis-à-vis customs working environment. I wished to have a very specialized qualification which could add up with my rich and diversified experience of more than sixteen years in the customs service. Resultantly, I applied for admission in Master of Customs Administration at Charles Sturt University and competed for Australia Awards Scholarship for its financing. My studies at Charles Sturt University (CSU) have been the best learning time of my life. Keeping in view the academic and rich professional background of all the resource persons coupled with their extensive teaching experience, these studies have provided me a great learning opportunity from the best minds in this faculty. Keeping in view my penchant for learning, I believe that this degree has provided me a strong base to further my studies by pursuing a PhD in an area related to Customs or international trade.
