Biographical Info The Department of Business Studies Blace was established in 1958 as the Higher Pedagogical School in Priština, and from 1998 it continued to work as the High Business School in Kosovo Polje. In September 1999, the school was relocated to Blace, and after fundamental reforms in accordance with the Bologna Declaration, it received accreditation and grew into the Business School of Applied Studies, and in 2019 by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Business School of Applied Studies Blace became part of the Academy of Applied Studies South Serbia and since then has operated under the name of the Department of Business Studies Blace. The Department of Business Studies Blace, as a part of the state higher education institution, offers bachelor, specialist, and master applied studies in the field of economics, management, and informatics. The study program Taxes and Customs we established in the academic year 1999/2000, the main goal of which is to produce through the application of theoretical-methodological and practical knowledge staff able to apply and develop professional knowledge and skills needed for inclusion in the work process in the tax administration, branches, and sub-branches for calculation, control, and collection of taxes, local tax administrations, customs administration, customs offices, free zones administration, forwarding companies and companies engaged in international trade and transport.
