INCU Shanghai Student Forum 2015

“Focusing on the Younger Generation of Customs Professionals and Future Leaders in Developing a Work Agenda for the INCU Baku Regional Office.”

The International Network of Customs Universities (INCU) held a student forum  with the theme: “Focusing on the Younger Generation of Customs Professionals and Future Leaders in Developing a Work Agenda for the INCU Baku Regional Office”, which was held on 22 October 2015 in Shanghai, China.

Conference Summary

The INCU Shanghai Student Forum was hosted by the Shanghai Customs College (SCC) to introduce the INCU to Chinese students and discuss possible future student initiatives of the INCU Baku Regional Office in Azerbaijan.

The forum provided an opportunity for the INCU to engage with students and further promote international academic cooperation in the field of Customs.

The event was attended by SCC students, lecturers, library staff as well as guests from the International Port Community Systems Association (IPCSA), the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies (CCES), Charles Sturt University, Australia. It included a Book Donation Ceremony, presentations by expert guest speakers, SCC student presentations and Q&A session.

The official opening of the INCU Shanghai Student Forum took place in the lobby of the Shanghai Customs College Library.
