Católica Lisbon School of Law has developed and now offers the Postgraduate Customs Law Program, which is designed to provide students with the necessary technical knowledge on the European Union customs law and procedures.
Based on 8 modules, the course is organised in a time-efficient manner, consisting of seminars held online, twice a week, in the evenings, and lasts 4 months. Key topics of the course include international trade supply chain and EU Customs legislation, Customs procedures, regimes, AEO, Customs classification, origin of goods, Customs value, excises duties and VAT, and Customs and tax dept, guaranties and payment.
This interactive program is open to customs practitioners from the private and public sectors. The target group also includes indirect tax professionals working for multinational corporations, involved in international trade, or working in consultancy, the academic world, the judiciary or for tax or customs authorities.
