New Issue of the World Customs Journal (Vol.14 No.1 – March 2020) Published

The latest issue of the World Customs Journal (Vol.14 No.1 – March 2020) has been published. INCU members can now access and download it in the members-only area of our website.

This issue of the World Customs Journal contains papers that address a wide range of topics echoing the role of Customs to foster sustainability and enhance international trade, including papers that analyse problems in the global trading environment, from the illicit cigarette market in Australia to Colombia’s protectionism, and introduce approaches which can be utilized by Customs administrations, such as the application of ‘mirror statistics’ in cross-border trade administration and the implementation of block chain technology to support the SAFE Framework. This issue also presents a special report of WCO’s announcement of HS 2022, two years prior to its implementation on 1 January 2022.
