On 27 May 2022, INCU President, Professor David Widdowson AM, and Member of the INCU Management Committee, Professor Wieslaw Czyzowicz delivered speeches at the International Discussion Forum “Customs of Ukraine in Conditions of War and Post-War State” organised by the INCU Affiliate, the University of Customs and Finance in Dnipro, Ukraine. Professor Widdowson addressed the topic of “Customs in Times of Crisis” and Professor Czyzowicz spoke about “The Role of Customs in Protecting the National Interests of Ukraine”.
The forum, which was held on Zoom, was opended by the WCO Secretary-General Dr Kunio Mikuriya and moderated by the Head of the Academic Board of the University of Customs and Finance, Professor Victor Chentsov and was attended by over 500 participants.
The University of Customs and Finance is planning to publish Conference Proceedings containg a collection of papers and presentations delivered at the forum and other relevant forum information.
