INCU Membership Affairs and Communications Officer Mr. Tariq Hassan participated in this year’s HULT Prize Regional Finals in Shanghai from 11 to 12 March 2016 representing the Australian National University (ANU), where he is currently completing a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics. The million dollar challenge this year was to come up with an innovative idea of a social business that can double the income of ten million people living in the crowded urban spaces by 2021.
The ANU team was primarily selected as one of the regional finalists in Shanghai among 25,000 teams that competed from all over the world and finally ended up being one of the top six teams in the region.
