An INCU Member from Malaysian Customs, Mr Jegen John Peter, recently released a short film on money laundering and human trafficking in Malaysia named Acham Vidu Latchiyam Thodu which in English means Your Fear is Nothing Your Goal Is Everything. This is the first Tamil short film with English subtitles of its kind from Royal Malaysian Customs.
It follows the Royal Malaysian Customs in uncovering a money laundering syndicate. Though this short film is fictitious, it serves as a platform in highlighting issues ranging from money laundering, human trafficking, counterfeit money and how these illicit activities adversely affect the economy of a country. This film is meant to increase awareness among the public and customs officers in preventing these illegal activities.
