In 2020, the International Network of Customs Universities (INCU) celebrates the 15th anniversary of its establishment and Friday 7 February, marked the date of its establishment.
The INCU 15th anniversary coincided with the 4th INCU International Winter School 2020, which was being held at the INCU Regional Office in Baku, Azerbaijan, where the occasion was celebrated at a formal dinner hosted by the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The dinner was attended by all participants of the INCU International Winter School including students and lecturers from several universities, faculty members of Azerbaijan Customs Academy and several officers of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the celebration, congratulatory remarks were delivered by the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, Prof. Igbal Babayev, Rector of Azerbaijan Customs Academy, Mr Gulu Novruzov, Chief of the International Relations Department of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, Mr Dilavar Farzaliyev and by a number of other guests including lecturers and students who attended the INCU Winter School.
Head of INCU Secretariat, Dr Mikhail Kashubsky indicated that international networking and cooperation in customs research and education is the essence of the INCU, and on behalf of the INCU Management Committee, he thanked all attendees and expressed gratitude to the leadership of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan for their ongoing support of INCU and its activities.
