On 10 February 2020, Head of INCU Secretariat, Dr Mikhail Kashubsky, visited INCU Institutional Member, Russian Customs Academy (RCA) in Lyubertsy, Moscow region, Russia to explore areas of cooperation between RCA and INCU.
Dr Kashubsky met with the Head of RCA, Professor Vladimir Mantusov, the Dean of Customs Administration Faculty, Professor Igor Sergeev and Deputy-Director of the International Cooperation Department of RCA, Ms Anna Yakunina. After viewing a video presentation about the RCA and discussing various aspects of international cooperation between the two organisations, Dr Kashubsky formally presented a Certificate of Membership to the RCA, which has recently upgraded its INCU membership status from Affiliate to Institutional Member.
As part of his visit, Dr Kashubsky also delivered a lecture to RCA staff and students on the topic of “INCU’s Role in International Customs Education, New Trends and WCO PICARD Strategy 2030”.
