On 7 April 2017, Head of INCU Secretariat, Dr Mikhail Kashubsky took part in the Closing Ceremony of the 2018 Summer School for Namibian Customs Officers organised by the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies (CCES), Charles Sturt University and held from 27 March to 7 April 2017 in Windhoek, Namibia. Approximately 20 Namibian Customs completed the Summer School and were awarded Certificates of Completion by CCES Associate Professor Andrew Jhonson.
Dr Kashubsky congratulated the participants on completing the summer school. He thanked the Acting Commissioner of Namibian Customs, Mrs Susan Beaukes for the cooperation of Namibian of Namibian Customs in organising this event, for supporting capacity building activities and said that such cooperative initiatives between INCU members and customs administrations represent the essence of the WCO’s PICARD Programme.
