On 24 April 2017 the Office of INCU Secretariat and the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies (CCES), where INCU Secretariat is based, was visited by a delegation from a long-standing INCU Institutional Member, Shanghai Customs College (SCC) led by the Vice-President of SCC, Mr Haimeng Ding.
The SCC delegation comprised:
- Mr Haimeng Ding, Vice-President, SCC
- Dr Ming Qian, Director of Foundation Department and Ideological and Political Department, SCC
- Mr Cheng Jin, Project Officer, International Exchange Department, SCC
The delegation met with INCU President and CCES Head of School, Professor David Widdowson, CCES Director of Vocational Programs Mr Brent Juratowitch and Head of INCU Secretariat and CCES Senior Lecturer, Dr Mikhail Kashubsky. The topics of discussion included further development of various aspects of cooperation between CCES and SCC as well as further cooperative activities between SCC and INCU including visiting lecturer and student exchange programs as well as SCC further involvement in the activities of INCU, including the possibility of holding a major INCU international conference in Shanghai, hosted by SCC.
Apart from formal meeting, the visit of SCC delegation also included a tour of the university a city tour, a visit to the Australian Parliament House and a formal dinner.
