Among other things, the Secretariat is responsible for providing administrative support to the Management Committee, coordinating the activities of INCU Members and Affiliates, organising events, and liaising with the World Customs Organisation (WCO) and other stakeholders.

The INCU Secretariat is located within the Canberra City precinct approximately 3.5km from the Australian Parliamentary Complex and 4km from the Lodge, the Australian Prime Minister’s official residence.
