(OUT e.V.) was founded in 1991 as a non-profit research organization with the objective of promoting science and research in the public interest. Its research areas are preferably in the fields of optoelectronics and environmentally friendly technologies. Members are small and medium-sized enterprises, other research institutions and natural persons.
