Biographical Info VMU has a reputation as a university with a globally oriented, free-spirited, liberal mindset. Many of the research innovations at VMU are born at the confluence of disciplines. The main strength of research at VMU is our ability to respond to an increasingly globalised and competitive landscape prompting the dynamic formation of new research priorities and facilitating ongoing improvements in research performance both at a national and an international level. A new Master's program MBA "Customs Process Management" started in 2023 September at VMU Faculty of Bioeconomy Development. This is an intensive online one-year MBA programme "Customs Process Management" which focuses on the preparation of high-level managers for business and public sector organizations operating in the field of customs. The studies are distance learning and are adapted to students working in business. Online studies – lectures are held in the evenings. Although, the first lectures and final exams of each semester's study courses are held by contact (face-to-face). The study programme "Customs Process Management" is unique and is characterized by interdisciplinarity, as 40 % courses bring together the disciplines of taxes, customs, supply chains and communications. Other study courses are focused directly on customs, tax policy, business development. The following discounts may apply to MBA “Customs Process Management” candidates: 15% discount for members of Lithuania Customs Practitioner Association and Customs Knowledge Institute; 15% Partnership discount for Partners of VMU AA Faculty of Bioeconomy Development; 15% VMU graduates discount; 30% Business companies discount, for companies sending more than 2 employees to study.
